PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

The Election of President Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America means many things to different peoples: To African-Americans, he is a fulfillment of the Dream of Dr. King; to the LUO, he is their first President; to the world, he perhaps is the right medicine to a world divided and bedeviled by interracial and ideological strife.
Mr. Obama is a man walking under a sober mind tempered by his rare upbringing: born to a black man and a white woman, he has lived, or was brought up among Asians, Africans, and Whites, and exposed to all world religions. From humble beginnings he would rise and be educated in the Athenian Tradition, serve the poor, and dine with kings. With the patience, distant gaze and killer instinct of the savanna cat, and the polished oratory skills of a poet, this great, great, ... grandson of Ramogi brings to the world the love of wisdom of his Luo people (may the Caucasian side of this great man please live with my Ramogi pride for a moment). Barry Ja Kogelo, okew Jo Kansas, the world awaits your government.
Congratulations Mr. President.
